About me

Hi, my name is Amadeus

I'm a pianist and composer from Germany

My background is rooted in a decade of classical training, studying under Rosalia Erdelyi-Kruzsnyiczky from 2003 to 2012. I also took masterclasses with Arbo Valdma, Felix Gottlieb and Karl-Heinz Kämmerling between 2008 and 2010. While those years gave me a formal foundation, I’ve always been drawn to improvisation and the belief that music never really stands alone—it’s always connected to a moment, a story, or a person. I wrote my first piece in the 6th grade and have been exploring that sense of expression and connection ever since.

My path into digital spaces started around 2010 with YouTube covers and a series of originals I called "Untitled." After a short break, I began streaming on Twitch during the COVID-19 pandemic. Over the last 3,500+ hours of live broadcasting, I’ve focused on building a community where the music is what allows us to come together in "The Living Room" and support each other.

That community actually pushed me to grow technically. Their support allowed me to move beyond solo piano and explore tools like DAWs, VST plugins, and live looping. I’ve found that I really enjoy the process of finding the right connection between music and other media, which has led me to score and arrange for a variety of projects, including radioplays and animated short films.

As a recording artist, I’ve released three albums—Apart, Away, and Adrift (the "A-Series")—and an EP called Apapacho. These are neo-classical piano pieces that were entirely improvised and recorded on the spot, an idea I always loved ever since I listened to Keith Jarrets "Köln Concert" for the first time.

Currently, I’m still active on Twitch, sharing a mix of covers and improvisations, while continuing to write and produce music for commissioned projects.
